Yoga Dimensions with Marianne
Friday, November 7th, 6:30-8:30pm
$25 in advance, $30 at the door, Register by November 3rd
Dive into the deeper dimensions of yoga asana. On this evening, we'll challenge ourselves through advanced asana and strength-building poses linked seamlessly through vinyasa. Come prepared to back-bend and turn your world upside down in this invigorating class. Bring questions about asana and about your home practice for discussion. This workshop is most appropriate for students that have been practicing regularly for a minimum of one year. Please register early to reserve your spot.

Yoga Nidra with Marianne
Saturday, November 22nd, 2-3:30pm
$20 in advance, $25 at the door, Register by November 18th
Is savasana your favorite part of yoga class? Then this workshop is for you! During this special evening, we'll open the body with a short, gentle asana practice before moving into a special hour-long savasana. You'll be guided into deep meditation using visualizations, progressive muscle relaxation and the breath. Yoga nidra means yogic sleep. It is different than traditional sleep in that our conscious mind stays active, but completely relaxed. It is said that 15 minutes of yoga nidra are equal to an entire night's rest. This 4000 year old meditation technique will bring you to a state of profound physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Anyone can practice yoga nidra, regardless of yoga or meditation experience. Please register early for this special treat!

Hip Openers with Marianne
Saturday, December 6th, 2-4pm

Join Marianne for an evening of yoga designed to open your hips and create more freedom in your postures and body. The hips are an important part of all yoga postures. However, our days spent in chairs help contribute to stiffness in the hips. In this workshop, we'll explore poses that focus on the muscles around the hip joints and address the most common problems that limit flexibility. Using postures linked through vinyasa, yin poses and pranayama, we'll work deep into our hips to promote flexibility and opening. Open to all levels of students, though a basic understanding of asanas is recommended. Pre-registration required. Register early to reserve your spot. Space is limited.

Gentle & Yin Yoga with Marianne

Take come time to chill out! Join Marianne for a relaxing Gentle and Yin Yoga class. At a slow pace, you will indulge in stretching, toning and restorative poses that have been sequenced to encourage you to release tension and gain strength. This is a perfect class to help you relax and breathe deeply. Great for beginners!
